Alejandro has dedicated himself to the conception, design and development of content for exhibitions and museum interpretation projects for 20 years. B.Origin the company he founded together with the artist and designer María Herrera, has delivered museographic proposals for cultural centres and museums across European and Latin American cities.
He is currently focusing on creating immersive and interactive experiences related to the interpretation of content in museums, art centres and heritage sites.
Alejandro has written and collaborated on articles about art, contemporary culture, theory and reflection in publications such as the supplement Cultura (s), the newspaper La Vanguardia de Barcelona, the Revista Ilustrada Parabólica de Sevilla, Transversal, Revista de Cultura Contemporània de Lleida or Quaderns of Philology. Literary Studies, University of Valencia.
His book Patrimonio de lo Cotidiano was published in 2015.
Some of his personal projects have been exhibited at the Centro de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB), the Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA) or the Met.room gallery in the same city.
He has lectured at different universities and has been a guest lecturer in the module on ephemeral architecture, museography and scenography, within the Specialisation in Interior Architecture Projects of the Pontifical Bolivarian University in Colombia.
